Welcome to my portfolio. This is just a small sample of my work in various disciplines. I’ve divided my work in two main catagories: Digital Media and Fine Art.
I have been doing Web Design and Multimedia for about 10 years, after completing my studies in Digital Media Design at the International Academy of Design in Toronto. This program covered computer-based graphic design, HTML and JavaScript, digital audio and video production and multimedia development – in addition to basic studio practices and business skills as they relate to the New Media industry.
Previous to that, I obtained my diploma in Fine Art in the Post-Secondary program at Central Technical School. This program was designed to develop the student’s portfolio in a wide range of media, while building a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills. I learned a great deal at CTS, and enjoyed trying my hand at so many different art forms.
In addition to these pursuits, I have recently taken up the somewhat lost art of traditional rug hooking - thanks to my mom, who is a certified teacher with the OHCG and has been trying to get me back into it for years. I enjoy it much the same way people like knitting – but I find that there is also an aspect of artistry to it that really appeals to me. If I ever finish anything, I’ll post a picture.
